Most funds raised from our supporters and generous donors go towards providing services to survivors of abuse and their families. These services include two specialised advocacy/outreach officers who visit our clients on a daily basis and advocacy/outreach support staff who provide information and referral on basic entitlements. This is funded by our funding partners and our own income.
More general services are provided including housing, social events, peer support, a drop-in centre and a friendly call back system. We do not receive any statutory funding for our general services, except for funding towards rents in our apartments.
Right of Place Second Chance accounts are audited in May each year and all accounts are always publicly available through our website.
In 2018 the organisation raised €237,571 gross income and our expenditure was €225,883. The money raised was from Right of Place Second Chance supporters, our own income and funding received from the HSE.
In 2018, we had a total of 8 employees, of which their pay is listed below. We use our funding to provide outreach and advocacy officers to support the needs of survivors and their families in Ireland.
We hope we have given you an open, honest and fair reflection of how our funds are spent. As you will see from salary breakdowns, our staff are dedicated, passionate and professional to carry out their work. We do not offer large salaries and operate a very low average salary.
