On the 27th March 2012, Right of Place took the unprecedented step amongst Survivor Groups in launching an Annual Report.
Their was many facets as to why the Report was launched and probably the most important of them was our recommendations section where we have called on the Government to offer further supports for Survivors and their families into the future.
We looked at what the major concerns were from our 5,393 contacts over the last year to formulate these recommendations that would in some shape aid in the advancement of Survivors lives. Indeed this is our continued aim, as the Report was entitled;
“Moving on, From Victim to Survivor, to Empowerment and Opportunity”
We hope you enjoy looking through the Annual Report and to re-iterate this will be an Annual Event in our constant quest to advance Survivors lives, additionally to offering a platform for Survivors to see the work being carried out and the important role we play in Survivors lives.

Great report and great to see Right of Place back to the gore an really representing Survivors.
The changes have been great and we might finally have some support, some body who can speak intelligently and passionately regarding our plight.
Keep up the excellent work you have started.
We all need a meeting with written views on this fund and especially the 50 50 deal
Children did not qualify for any previous funds development amongst poverty striken families suffer due to this outragious attitude of the government
Hi Right of Place,
Just wanted to say only got keep up the good work.
Was great to read the report and to see clearly what is happening, what has been done.
Also good to see the comments from Survivors in the Report which showd the great work that ye continue to do.
Makes a difference to know somebody is there, big difference from the rest of them.
Hi John O’Driscoll
Thanks for your kind comments.
It is always our intention to promote the current needs of Survivors. We do the work with Survivors and their families and are perfectly placed to show that work and show the need for continued assistance.
Our work has only begun, but with input, greater unity amongst Survivors and a clearer understanding we can all reach where we want and need to.
Thanks.
Well staged Lads, ye are very good at this.
Hi Mossie,
You say it was “well staged”? I am sorry but I cannot understand what you mean? How can a launch of an annual report, with pictures and publicly available material be staged.
Would you care to expand on what exactly you statement means and if there is anything specific I can answer or give you more information on, I will be happy to.
Thanks in advance.
